I was walking down the street with my boyfriend, and someone started walking right behind us (outside of my peripheral vision). He stepped forward and put his arm around my waist; still unable to see him, I figured it might be a friend of mine. A few steps later, I looked over; just as I realized I didn’t recognize the dude and recoiled, he started sliding his hand down my hip. My bf started yelling at him (I was sort of in shock and didn’t know what to do), and the dude walked ahead of us, stumbling drunk, yelling “I’m sorry, I like Muslim girls.” (I’m not Muslim and don’t understand what that meant.) As my bf continued to yell at him, a woman who had been walking behind the whole time ran up to him and told us to lay off, because “Can’t you see he’s drunk?”
